Hong Kong Bird Park And City Walk

Tucked away within Hong Kong Park in Central, the Edward Youde Aviary is a remarkable urban oasis and the largest walk-through aviary in Southeast Asia. Spanning a natural valley, its vast stainless-steel mesh enclosure covers 3,000 square meters, creating a sanctuary for hundreds of free-flying birds.

What makes it truly captivating is the immersive experience. Visitors explore not at ground level, but along a gently descending elevated walkway that winds through the treetops. This unique perspective allows you to observe the aviary's residents—including colorful lorikeets, melodious songbirds, and rare species like the Bali Myna—at eye level as they fly, perch, and feed in a lush, recreated tropical rainforest habitat.

More than just a display, the aviary serves as a living showcase for the biodiversity of the threatened Malesian rainforests, offering a serene, educational, and deeply engaging escape from the surrounding city skyscrapers, all with free admission.
