Birds Park

In the heart of Kuala Lumpur's green lung, the Perdana Botanical Gardens, you'll find the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park, a renowned eco-tourism destination and one of the world's largest free-flight aviaries. Covering 20.9 acres of lush, verdant terrain, this remarkable sanctuary is home to over 3,000 birds representing approximately 200 species, offering visitors an immersive experience that feels like stepping into a thriving rainforest.

The park's most extraordinary feature is its pioneering free-flight concept, where a majority of the birds are let free in large enclosures designed to closely mimic their natural habitat. This philosophy allows birds to fly, breed, and behave naturally. Visitors are treated to the sight of colorful peacocks, majestic hornbills, graceful flamingos, and many more winged residents freely roaming and soaring just overhead. The park is thoughtfully divided into four distinct zones: Zones 1 and 2 form the expansive free-flight area; Zone 3 is dedicated to the impressive Hornbill Park; and Zone 4 houses birds in smaller, separate enclosures.

More than just an observation park, it's a place for memorable interaction and discovery. Guests can feed friendly lorikeets by hand, witness spectacular bird shows featuring intelligent raptors and parrots, and learn about avian life at the educational center. With its beautiful landscapes, flowing streams, and cascading waterfalls, the KL Bird Park provides a serene yet exciting escape from the urban bustle, making it a must-visit for nature lovers, families, and photographers alike
